It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to dance until the sun goes down or just have a taste of a few local ales, there’s so much variety here in Worcester that you’re bound to find a festival that’s to your taste.

Mello Festival

Don’t let the name deceive you, there’s nothing ‘mellow’ about this fun festival! Over the years this festival has featured a number of classic acts ranging from legendary rockers Hawkwind to 90s folk crew The Levellers. In addition to great music there’s also a huge range of food, as well as plenty of activities for kids.

Worcester Fake Festival

Ever fancied seeing Queen with Freddie Mercury? How about watching legendary bands like Green Day and the Red Hot Chili PeppersĀ all in one day? Well, at the Worcester Fake Festival you can do just that! This year’s festival, held in Worcester’s iconic giant marquee tent is an event not to be missed as the city is visited by world-class tribute acts to Foo Fighters, U2, Kasabian and more!

Worcester Music Festival

One of the biggest events to rock the city, the Worcester Music Festival hosts dozens of bands each year in a massive variety of venues. Each year there’s a massive variety of performers so you can expect everything from tribute acts to metal, punk, folk, pop, jazz and blues! The best thing about this festival is that it’s absolutely free, so you can save your money for some delicious food and drink.

Each year the community of Worcester pulls together to organise a massive range of events. There’s something for everyone here from blues guitar gigs to pantomimes, and best of all its held over the Summer holiday period so parents should be able to find something to occupy their sprogs! Be advised that many of these events need to be booked in advance so it’s a good idea to take a look at the website well ahead of schedule.

Worcester CAMRA Festival

Something for the parents to enjoy, there’s nothing quite like a beer festival to get Mum and Dad in a cheery mood! Whatever your tipple, whether it’s real ale, ciders, perries or fruit wines there are literally hundreds of different varieties on offer here, so you’ll be guaranteed to find something that you like. This year there’s music from a wide range of bands including: rock covers from Locked & Loaded, a powerful tribute from Fred Zeppelin and even some skiffle from local outfit The Poor Boys of Worcester.

Oktober Festival

Another one for adults only, Oktoberfest Worcester is our city’s very own rendition of the famous German beer festival giving you the opportunity to save on the flight and have more cash left over for the important stuff ie. BEER! Worcester’s huge marquee is transformed into a Bavarian beer hall for two days only giving you the chance to drink and eat to your heart’s content in true German style.
